Melissa, OTR

Hi, I'm Melissa!

I have been a San Antonio occupational therapy graduate from University of Texas Health Science Center and have been practicing OT for 17 years.  During this time I have seen patients/clients in the children and adults in long term acute care, acute care, out patient clinic, early childhood intervention, schools and home health.  Each of these settings, families and therapists I have worked with have helped shaped the skills I have today.

I enjoy sharing the love for OT with students and families.  The possibilities are endless in the profession! I am truly blessed to be an OT and part of a profession who enjoys seeing patients achieve new goals. One thing many may not know about me is I pray for my hands to complete His work.  I am not a miracle worker but I know the one is!

Outside of OT, I love to travel and explore the great outdoors!

Savannah, COTA

Hi, my name is Savannah I’m a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. I went to St. Philips College and graduated in 2009. I’ve been in the pediatric home health setting for 11 years and still love it! I’ve been married 12 years and have three kiddos two boys 11yrs and 8yrs and one daughter 6yrs old. My oldest has Asperger syndrome, both my sons received Speech Therapy in the past. I feel that helps me as a clinician to be well rounded and it gives me a better insight, since I’ve been on both sides receiving therapy for my children and providing now to others. Family time is my number one favorite, we love taking our kids on trips especially to the beach!
